Here is a Team Challenge story about Mary.
Mary's Story starts Thirteen years ago, Mary was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. She was a busy mom with six children, and did not have time to be sick. She told very few people about her diagnosis. That all changed in 2014 when her eight-year-old daughter, Jessica, was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. It was no longer just about Mary's own disease. Mary also wanted to make a difference for her daughter, so she joined Team Challenge. After completing her fundraising faster than she ever imagined, and meeting friends at training that become an instant support group, Mary knew she was hooked and signed up for another Team Challenge season.
